"Amntu'kati" is the annual home coming of all Algonquin peoples to L'num'tgi, in Nova Scotia. It is the celebration of new life & Family. Commencing with a Sovereignty-walk from "Kuowaqe’jk" our home on Citadel Hill, to the Amntu'kati coast; this event is Traditionally a chance at love, and the renewal of the love that made you a family to begin with.
We will celebrate life and the spirits that make us one over Down Home cooking & the Beat of the community drum! Join us! This year Amntu'kati will be held from June 15th - 22nd 2025

As a result of this accuracy the Lnug year has exactly 13 months. This is a significant number and foundational theme found throughout Lnuismk cosmology
